The present invention relates to combinations of polypeptides or of polynucleotides corresponding to a specific region of the N-terminal portion of the VAR2CSA protein of different parasitic families or lines of Plasmodium falciparum, and to their use in the prevention of pregnancy-associated malaria. The invention also relates to immunogenic compositions and to vaccines useful for preventing malaria in pregnant women.La présente invention concerne des combinaisons de polypeptides ou de polynucléotides correspondant à une région spécifique de la partie N-terminale de la protéine VAR2CSA de différentes familles ou lignées parasitaires de Plasmodium falciparum, et leur utilisation dans la prévention du paludisme gestationnel. Linvention vise également des compositions immunogènes et des vaccins utiles pour prévenir le paludisme chez la femme enceinte.
