PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retinal camera which permits a quality photographing of an ocular fundus even when photographing is performed with the position of a photographic diaphragm changed as in stereoscopic photographing.
SOLUTION: A photographic diaphragm 31a is chosen for normal photographing and photographic diaphragms 31b and 31c are chosen for stereoscopic photographing. In accordance with the chosen photographic diaphragm, the sizes 101a and 102a of a black spot are varied. The position, shape and number of the black spot not the size of the black spot or in place thereof. Even when the position of the photographic diaphragm is changed as in stereoscopic photographing, the image of the black spot in the chosen photographic diaphragm surface can be made to cover the entire photographic diaphragm and by preventing reflected light in an objective lens from passing through the photographic diaphragm, a good image of an ocular fundus without harmful light can be obtained.
