Disclosed are a novel reagent for tumor testing and a novel pharmaceutical composition for tumor prevention. The disclosed reagent for tumor testing contains a probe for the FEAT gene or a primer for amplifying the FEAT gene, or, an antibody against the FEAT protein or a fragment of said antibody. The disclosed pharmaceutical composition for tumor prevention recognizes tumor cells by using the FEAT gene or the FEAT protein as a tumor marker.Linvention concerne un nouveau réactif pour tester des tumeurs et une nouvelle composition pharmaceutique pour la prévention tumorale. Le réactif de linvention pour tester des tumeurs contient une sonde pour le gène FEAT ou une amorce pour lamplification du gène FEAT, ou un anticorps dirigé contre la protéine FEAT ou un fragment dudit anticorps. La composition pharmaceutique de la présente invention pour la prévention tumorale reconnaît des cellules tumorales par lutilisation du gène FEAT ou de la protéine FEAT en tant que marqueur tumoral.本発明は、新規な腫瘍の検査用試薬及び腫瘍の予防用医薬組成物を提供することを目的とする。 本発明は、FEAT遺伝子に対するプローブ若しくはFEAT遺伝子の増幅用プライマー、又はFEATタンパク 質に対する抗体若しくはその断片を含む、腫瘍の検出用試薬を提供する。また、本発明は、FEAT遺伝子 又はFEATタンパク質を腫瘍マーカーとして腫瘍細胞を認識する腫瘍の予防用医薬組成物を提供する。
