PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel unit provided with a wheel with small width in a vehicle width direction, which is composed of a battery and a motor.SOLUTION: A control part 70 is placed inside a wheel unit. A switch cable 54 connects an electric power switch 51 and the control part 70 through a battery 4. An axle 32 can be attached to a vehicle body frame 2 of a wheelchair 1. A case 33d is fixed to the axle 32 and contacts the vehicle body frame.
