The present invention provides a method for growing sprouts and a system used in the same, wherein the water is irrigated from the bottom of the system and the pressure is given on above the system. The matrix to which the sprouts grow can absorb the water and be attached by the root of sprouts. The size of the matrix is suitable for boxing directly, and thus can avoid cutting roots during the gathering and shorten the preservation period of sprouts.
