The present invention relates to a linear polyethylenimine random copolymer comprising the following two monomer units of formulas I and II, in which R represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-C6 alkyl radical, R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-C6 alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group, wherein the alkyl group is C1-C6, n is a number between 1 and 99% of the total monomers and m is a number between 1 and 99% of the total monomers, advantageously, m + n = 100%.
