PURPOSE: A jaw correction surgery simulation method, a recording medium, and an apparatus thereof are provided to know the union relation after procedure or correction, and to manufacture a surgical splint corresponding to the simulation conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A jaw correction surgery simulation method comprises the steps of: scanning each model of top and bottom vice, maxillary, and mandible, and producing a neutroclusion digital dentition model after assembling each of the scanned model (S110); separating model comprising at least one among soft body, surgical hook, correction bracket, teeth, and bone, and processing the neutroclusion digital dentition model as 3D image (S120); overlapping the top and bottom vice of the neutroclusion digital dentition model on the bracket, dentition, hook, and soft body (S130); forming proximal fragment which will be moved in surgery by segmenting the 3D-processed jaw bone and soft body according to the predicted disconnecting line (S140); moving the neutroclusion digital dentition model, mandible centrifugal segment attached on the neutroclusion digital dentition model, correction bracket, hook, and soft body (S150); forming a surgical correction dentition model by assembling the real model corresponding to the union relation of the simulated top and bottom vice dentition model, and producing a surgical correction digital dentition of the model by scanning the formed surgical correction dentition model (S190); overlapping the surgical correction digital dentition model on the top jaw of the neutroclusion digital dentition model which is overlapped on the dentition separated from CT image in the previous step (S200); verifying the adequacy of the surgical correction through evaluating the result by moving the mandible centrifugal segment and related tissue (S220).
