PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which allows an observer to grasp the imaging direction of an ultrasonic image with respect to a subject.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises: a same position specification part which specifies the same position in a subject as a scan surface in a coordinate system of data of a medical image on the basis of the positional correspondence between the coordinate system having a prescribed point as an origin and the coordinate system of data of the medical image, and the position of the scan surface of the ultrasonic wave in the coordinate system having the prescribed point as the origin； and a direction specification part which specifies the direction of the subject in three-dimensional ultrasonic data on the basis of the information on the same position specified by the same position specification part and the information on the direction of the subject in the data of the medical image.
