A method for the preparation of the pure polymorphic form A of Bazedoxifene x acetate comprising the steps of: (a) dissolving Bazedoxifene x acetate in a solvent or a solvent mixture comprising at least one cyclic ether； (b) optionally filter the solution； (c) stir the solution to initiate crystallization of the polymorphic form A； (d) isolate the polymorphic form A of Bazedoxifene x acetate； and (e) dry the isolated material.Un método para la preparación de la forma A pura polimórfica de Bazedoxifeno x acetato que comprende las etapas de: (a) disolver Bazedoxifeno x acetato en un disolvente o una mezcla disolvente que comprende al menos un éter cíclico； (b) opcionalmente filtrar la solución； (c) agitar la solución para iniciar la cristalización de la forma A polimórfica； (d) aislar la forma A polimórfica de Bazedoxifeno x acetato； y (e) secar el material aislado.
