PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost animal leash connector which can prevent unwanted disconnection without additional part or with only one additional part that can be easily attached.SOLUTION: A locking member 12 having a disconnecting part 11 is detachably attached to an outer periphery of a base part 2 exceeding at least its semiperimeter accompanied by elastic expansion of width of the disconnecting part 11 and followed by restoration of the same. In the attached state, an engaging pin is locked in a closed state by preventing the retreating operation of a prop operation part in an axial direction between a hooking part 13 in the connection end side of the base part 2 and an operating part 7. The subject is solved by including at least either of a notch part 15a where a locking end side connection part 13 which becomes a propping part hooks a connecting part 7a rising up from the engaging pin 8 of the operating part 7 in the horizontal direction, or an inward projection 17 which enters in a slide groove 16 allowing the rising connecting part 7a to slide in the retreating operation direction along the peripheral wall of the base part 2 and hooks the same in the horizontal direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】部品の追加無しに、あるいは簡単に装着できる1つの部品の追加を伴って連結が不用意に外れるのを防止できる低コストなものとする。【解決手段】切り離し部11を有したロック部材12は、切り離し部11の弾性的な拡幅とその後の復元を伴い基部2外まわりにその少なくとも半周を超えて着脱できるように装着され、この装着状態で、基部2の連結端側引っ掛かり部13と操作部7との間で軸線方向に突っ張り操作部の後退操作を阻止して係止ピンを閉じ状態にロックし、かつ、突っ張り部となるロック端側当接部13が操作部7の係止ピン8からの立ち上がり連結部7aと左右方向に引っ掛かり合う切り込み部15a、および、基部2の周壁に立ち上がり連結部7aを後退操作方向にスライドさせるスライド溝16に入り込んで左右方向に引っ掛かり合う内向き突起17、の少なくとも一方を備えたことにより、上記の課題を解決する。【選択図】図1
