PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic apparatus capable of reducing a failure risk of a chin rest sensor.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic apparatus for examining an eye to be examined includes: a chin rest that supports the chin of a subject and is driven in a vertical direction for adjusting an eye level of the subject an operation part that sinks the chin rest downward when the chin is placed on the chin rest and detection means for detecting the sinking of the chin rest by the operation part.
