PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article allowing an auxiliary absorber to be set according to the quantity of urination of a user and hardly becoming bulky if the auxiliary absorber is mounted.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes an absorbent laminated body 2 including a top sheet 3, a back sheet 4 and a first absorbent core 5 disposed between the sheets and a pair of side sheets 6 disposed on both sides in the lateral direction of the absorbent laminated body 2 and extended in the longitudinal direction. The side sheets 6 are disposed on the top sheet 3 side, and joined to the top sheet 3 and/or back sheet 4. A pocket 7 is formed between each side sheet 6 and the absorbent laminated body 2, and a second absorbent core 8 is detachably attached within the pocket 7 outside of the first absorbent core 5 in the lateral direction.
