PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hedge trimmer preventing an upper blade and a lower blade from being superposed on each other when a motor stops, and finely adjusting the positional relationship between the upper blade and the lower blade.SOLUTION: This hedge trimmer 1 includes a housing 2, and a motor 6 is held in the housing 2. The output of the motor 6 is transmitted to a pair of the upper blade 41 and the lower blade 42 by a rotational motion transmitting mechanism 5 changing rotational motion to reciprocating motion.
