PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method, capable of stably transferring an absorber from a rotary drum.SOLUTION: The device includes a rotary drum 2 provided with a suction and deposition part 22, for sucking and depositing an absorber raw material, on an outer peripheral surface, and is configured such that deposit 42, for which the absorber raw material is supplied to the outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum 2 and deposited inside the suction and deposition part 22 while rotating the rotary drum 2 in one direction, is released from the suction and deposition part 22 and transferred onto a conveyance part 4 by blowing air by an air blowing device 30 for mold release installed inside the rotary drum 2.
