PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treating agent composition easily ensuring both storage stability and application properties to hair when a certain component for adjusting hair condition is contained.SOLUTION: A hair treating agent composition contains at least one component of polyoxybutylene polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene glyceryl ether and lauroyl lysine. The hair treating agent composition further contains a stearyl alcohol and an amphoteric surfactant. The content of the stearyl alcohol is preferably 0.5 to 10 mass%. When the stearyl alcohol is defined as a first higher alcohol, the hair treating agent composition further contains a second higher alcohol different from the first higher alcohol.
