The present invention is directed to use of heat shock protein inhibitor in preparing pharmaceutical composition for treating hepatitis by scavenging hepatitis B-infected cells. The heat shock protein inhibitor may include VER-155008, Pifithrin-µ or pharmaceutical salts thereof.
