PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize improvement of weight saving and assemblability of a cover part in a double bearing reel.SOLUTION: A double bearing reel 10 includes a reel body 11, a spool 14, and a handle 12. The reel body 11 includes a frame 17 having an opening part 27c, and a first-side cover 18a capable of being arranged at the opening part 27c. The spool 14 is rotatably attached to the frame 17. The handle 12 rotates the spool 14. The first-side cover 18a includes a cover body part 28a having a hole part 128a and a foreign substance preventing member 61 for preventing a foreign substance from entering from the hole part 128a. The foreign substance preventing member 61 is attached to the cover body part 28a by elastic deformation in a side where the cover body part 28a faces an interior portion of the frame 17.
