A catheter assembly is presented which includes a catheter adapter having a blood control valve. A port is disposed in the catheter adapter for providing selective access to the interior of the catheter adapter. A port valve is disposed within the catheter adapter to control access between the interior of the catheter adapter and the port. The port valve includes a flexible tube, a portion of the flexible tube covering an opening between the port and the catheter adapter.L'invention concerne un ensemble cathéter qui comprend un adaptateur de cathéter ayant une soupape de régulation de sang.
