PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a diaper for a pet with little material loss, and high production efficiency.SOLUTION: The method for producing the diaper for the pet includes a step of transporting each of the sheet-forming straps 11 and 14 in the longitudinal direction thereof, a step of dividing each of the sheet-forming straps 11 and 14 in the width direction thereof, thereby connecting mutual straps 4 for the girth in the longitudinal direction, and forming two rows of diaper continuous bodies having a shape arranging a strap 5 for the belly part in the longitudinal direction, respectively, a step of forming a slit 6 for a tail in a part corresponding to the strap 5 for the belly part of each of the sheet-forming straps 11 and 14, and a step of cutting each of the diaper continuous bodies into each diaper for the pet.
