CONSTITUTION: A method for isolating a novel Bacillus subtilis 5-B comprises: a step of suspending 1g of soybean paste with 10 mL of saline solution a step of smearing the suspend on a LB agar medium containing 10g/L of tryptone, 5 g/L of yeast extract, 5 g/L of sodium chloride, and 18 g/L of bactoagar and culturing at 37 degrees Celsius a step of isolating different strains and inoculating the strains into a LB liquid medium and shaking at 37 degrees Celsius for 24 hours and a step of mixing the medium with a corn powder. A feed additive composition contains the Bacillus subtilis 5-B(KCTC 11550BP) and phosphate or natural antioxidant.본 발명은 섬유질계 및 반섬유질계 물질의 가수분해 효소 생산능이 뛰어난 동시에 장기간 생존율이 우수한 신균주 바실러스 서브틸리스 (Bacillus subtilis) 5-B 균주(KCTC 11550BP)에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 바실러스 서브틸리스 신균주는 가축의 장내에서도 활성이 크게 감소되지 않는 셀룰라아제, 자일라나아제 및 만나아제를 생성하여 가축 사료의 주성분인 섬유질계 및 반섬유질계 물질의 분해능이 우수하고, 실온의 건조한 조건에서도 장기간 생존율이 유지되어 보관성이 매우 뛰어나다. 따라서, 본 발명의 균주는 사료용 첨가제 조성물의 유효성분으로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
