PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact lens mounting liquid which improves the wettability of a contact lens, sufficiently improves the wearing feeling thereof, and has good wearability. SOLUTION: A contact lens mounting solution contains a polyvinyl-based polymer compound and a cyclic oligosaccharide (cyclic cello-oligosaccharide) having a cyclic structure in which glucose or a constituent unit thereof is linked by a β-1,4 glucoside bond. The viscosity at 30 ° C. is 5 to 25 mPa · s. The cyclic oligosaccharide is a pentamer, hexamer, hepatomer, octamer, or a mixture of two or more of these constituent units.
