A powdery cosmetic composition having satisfactory applicability (or usability), cosmetic retentionability, adherence to skin, slippability and smoothness, comprising, as a powder component, the following components (a) and (b):(a) a branched alkyl silicone treated powder and (b) a composite silicone elastomer powder coated with at least one coating on the entire surface or a part of the surface thereof, selected from the group consisting of clay minerals, resins, metal oxides and salts, especially comprising 3-80% mass of the component (a) and 1-30% by mass of the component (b).本發明係一種粉末化粧料,其含有下述成分(a)及成分(b)作為粉末成分:(a)支鏈烷基聚矽氧處理之粉體以及(b)於粉末表面之整個面或一部分上,由包含選自黏土礦物、樹脂、金屬氧化物、鹽中至少1種之被覆物所被覆之複合聚矽氧彈性體粉體尤其含有3~80質量%之成分(a)與1~30質量%之成分(b),且滿足使用性、化粧持久性、對皮膚之附著性、光滑良好性及滑爽感。
