The notification shall cover compounds of: (E)-4'-phenylchalcone with formula 2 and (Z)-4'-phenylchalcone with formula 3. In addition, the notification shall cover how they are received simultaneously. This means that a hydroxylamine hydrochloride, anhydrous sodium sulphate (VI), then a mixture of organic solvents and the apparatus are filled with nitrogen. After dissolving the substrates, pyridine is added,which is a reaction mixture,which is protected from light and kept at a temperature from 18oC to 28oC for a period of five to 14 days. The reaction mixture is poured into cold water or ice water and then extracted with an organic solvent that does not mix with water,dry with anhydrous magnesium sulphate and /or anhydrous sodium sulphate and the solvent evaporates,the extract obtained is then purified on a chromatographic column.
