A method for improving a plant biomass and a yield is provided. According to the method, a plant is transformed by using an invertase gene combined by cell walls from corn or Arabidopsis, so as to obtain a transgenosis high yield plant with a biomass and a yield being significantly improved.Fait lobjet de cette invention un procédé daugmentation de la biomasse végétale et de son rendement consistant à transformer des plantes avec un gène codant pour linvertase associée à la paroi cellulaire du maïs et lArabidopsis thaliana par catalysation du saccharose afin dobtenir des plantes transgéniques à rendement élevé.
