PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-feeding combine harvester capable of ensuring a large roll-over angle and having excellent stability without causing enlargement of a machine body.SOLUTION: A threshing apparatus 6 is equipped with a threshing cylinder 41 rotated and driven with power from an engine 3, a receiving net 42 for covering the side of the lower part of the threshing cylinder 41 from the lower side, and an ear tip guide plate 74 for guiding the ear tip side of reaped grain culms transported with a reaping transporting apparatus 5 between the threshing cylinder 41 and the receiving net 42. The head-feeding combine harvester is composed so as to transmit the power from the engine 3 from a first transmission mechanism 49 equipped with bevel gears 79 and 80 through a second transmission mechanism 50 provided with a transmission belt 89 to the threshing cylinder 41.
