PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool with a storage container, which can easily handle a fiber guided out to the outside.SOLUTION: This spool 1 with the storage container has a spool 2 having a cylindrical body portion 21 on whose outer circumferential portion 24 a line L is wound, and the storage container 3 for receiving the spool 2, in a state capable of rotating the spool 2 in the circumferential direction of the body portion 21. The storage container 3 has the body 4 for arranging the spool 2 therein, a lid 5 for being detachably attached to the body 4, a slit 49 disposed in the body 4 and used for inserting the line L and guiding out the line L on the outside, and a projected portion 55 disposed on the lid 5 and used for hooking the line L that is passed through the slit 49.
