PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pole-and-line fishing machine preventing an accidental cut of a fish line by rapidly responding to movement of a tuna caught by a fishhook, allowing the tune to swim within a certain range, but capable of regulating unruly movement.SOLUTION: A pole-and-line fishing machine includes a revolving drum, a drive motor, an electromagnetic clutch, an encoder and a control part. The control part first performs take-up operation with a take-up torque set to hoisting power 1, when a load increases and the rotation of the revolving drum reaches a preset reference number of revolutions of hoisting power 2, sets the take-up torque to the hoisting power 2 smaller than the hoisting power 1, and can perform an operation mode (an operation mode 1) of changing to a reverse torque operation of increasing/decreasing the take-up torque according to the increase/decrease in the number of revolutions of the revolving drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13【課題】釣り針に掛かったマグロの動きに即応させることにより釣り糸の不用意な切断を防止し、且つ、一定の範囲での遊泳は許容するが野放図な動きを規制することができる一本釣り機を提供すること。【解決手段】回転ドラムと、駆動モータと、電磁クラッチと、エンコーダと、制御部と、を具備し、上記制御部は、当初は巻取トルクを巻上力１とした巻取動作を行なわせ、負荷が増大して上記回転ドラムの回転が予め設定された巻上力２基準回転数になったとき、巻取トルクを上記巻上力１より小さな巻上力２とするとともに、上記回転ドラムの回転数の増減に合わせて巻取トルクを増減させるリバーストルク動作に切り替える運転モード（運転モード１）を実施することができる。【選択図】図１３
