The present invention relates to a current control-based electromechanical cartilage reshaping apparatus and a current control-based electromechanical cartilage reshaping method for pain alleviation or removal based on current control within a pain induction limit current and an increase in electrical stability. The cartilage reshaping apparatus includes: an interface unit providing a user interface for control； a control unit outputting a current control command for cartilage reshaping in response to an input of a command transmitted from the interface unit and monitoring a current and a voltage output for the cartilage reshaping； a charging unit configured to have a rechargeable battery charged with power supplied from the outside； a current supply unit controlling the current for the cartilage reshaping within the pain induction limit current and in accordance with the current control command of the control unit after power supply from the charging unit and outputting the controlled current； and an electrode portion made up of multiple electrodes supplying the current for the reshaping to a cartilage. According to the present invention, the amount of the current flowing through the cartilage is controlled and an excessive inrush current is removed. Accordingly, its original function, that is, the cartilage reshaping, can be fulfilled along with the pain alleviation or removal.본 발명은 통증 유발 한계 전류 내에서 전류를 제어하는 것에 의해 통증을 완화하거나 없애며 전기적인 안정성을 높일 수 있는 전류 제어 기반 전기기계적 연골 성형 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 연골 성형 장치는, 제어를 위한 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하는 인터페이스부； 상기 인터페이스부로부터 전달되는 명령을 입력 받아 연골 성형을 위한 전류 제어 명령을 출력하고, 연골 성형을 위해 출력되는 전류와 전압을 모니터링하는 제어부； 외부로부터 전원을 입력받아 충전되는 충전지로 구성되는 충전부； 및 상기 충전부의 전원을 공급받은 후 상기 제어부의 전류 제어 명령에 따라 통증을 유발하는 한계 전류 내에서 연골 성형을 위한 전류를 제어하여 출력하는 전류공급부； 및 연골에 성형을 위한 상기 전류를 공급하는 다수의 전극으로 구성되는 전극부；를 포함하여 구성되어,연골에 흐르는 전류의 양을 제어함으로써, 과도한 돌입전류를 제거하여 통증을 완화하거나 없애면서도 연골 성형의 본질적인 기능을 수행할 수 있도록 하는 효과를 제공한다.
