PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drunk driving preventive device capable of determining whether detected alcohol is alcohol due to factors other than alcohol drinking, and to provide a drunk driving preventive method.
SOLUTION: Based on at least either alcohol concentration or detection position detected by alcohol detection sensors 3 to 5, it is determined whether the detected alcohol comes out from the drinking or other substances containing alcohol.
