To apply an effective rotatory operation to the pelvis and which is the trunk of the body.
SOLUTION: A chair-type massage machine with a backrest section 1 and a seat section 2 includes trunk rotating mechanisms 5a and 5b for rotating the trunk of a user, at the backrest section 1 and the seat section 2 respectively and wherein both the trunk rotating mechanisms substantially simultaneously operate in the same direction. The trunk rotating mechanism is formed of pushing-up mechanisms disposed in the left and right, the pushing-up mechanism consists of air bags to be inflatingly/deflatingly driven and the two-tiered air bags superposed vertically are connected at one end sides respectively and the inflating direction is defined as an obliquely upward direction extending in the rotatory direction.
