PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an effective rotatory operation to the pelvis, which is the trunk of the body.SOLUTION: A chair-type massage machine with a backrest section 1 and a seat section 2 includes trunk rotating mechanisms 5a and 5b for rotating the trunk of a user, at the backrest section 1 and the seat section 2 respectively, wherein both the trunk rotating mechanisms substantially simultaneously operate in the same direction.
