PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a seaweed culturing net, which is effected with an easy apparatus at a low cost without giving bad effect to the environment, and to provide bacillus to be used for the treatment.SOLUTION: This method for treating a seaweed culturing net includes charging a seaweed culturing net 10 into a treatment tank 1, pouring a treatment liquid W into the treatment tank 1 so as to soak the seaweed culturing net 10, blocking an opening of the treatment tank 1 with a cover member 2, and raising the temperature of the treatment liquid W in the treatment tank 1 to about 30-60°C.
