The present invention relates to a method and a device for melting thermoplastic resin for use in the formation of artificial teeth, and more specifically, to a method and a device for melting thermoplastic resin for forming artificial teeth, capable of melting thermoplastic resin for forming artificial teeth at an accurate temperature to thereby prevent the thermoplastic resin from degrading. According to the present invention, coils covered with an insulating material and generating magnetic field outside the insulating material are installed outside a heater, and an inverter which regulates power supply by using a temperature sensor is installed to thereby accurately supply or cut the power to the coils so the thermoplastic resin for forming artificial teeth can be melted at an accurate temperature. Also, the present invention enables accurate control of temperature by heating the main body of the heater through a magnetic field and thus prevents the thermoplastic resin from degrading and raw materials from unnecessarily going to waste.
