According to the composition containing nano-diamond and astaxanthin, astaxanthin is able to last in the composition for a long time without being easily deformed by heat, oxygen, or light since the astaxanthin is adsorbed to the nano-diamond. As such, the composition of the present invention is capable of avoiding or reducing the use of a surfactant when used as a cosmetic material, thereby providing a skin-friendly natural cosmetic material.
