<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron clinical thermometer capable of being easily grasped by a user (guardian, care person or measurement person oneself) whether the measuring part (metal cap part) is correctly located on the temperature measurement part or not. <；P>；SOLUTION: The electron clinical thermometer of this invention is characteristically provided with the detection means for detecting whether the temperature measurement part of the thermometer is correctly located on the prescribed position or not. Furthermore, the thermometer is provided with the attitude detection means for detecting the attitude of the thermometer at the time of measuring temperature of the body which characteristically informs by the sound.
