<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clinical thermometer, allowing easy selection between a mode for auditory notification and a mode (silent mode) that does not notify auditorily at the user side, and capable of properly notifying the finishing of measurement of body temperature, according to one's preference and situation of the surrounding. <；P>；SOLUTION: This electronic clinical thermometer for detecting the temperature of a measured portion and for calculating the body temperature, based on a change with the lapse of time to be exhibited is provided with a selection means allowing the selection between the first mode (ordinary mode) for notifying the finish of the measurement of the body temperature when finished, by a buzzer sound, and the second mode (silent mode) for notifying the finish by something other than the buzzer sound, a body temperature measuring means for detecting the temperature elevation and for measuring the bodily temperature, and a notification means for notifying the finish of the measurement, according to the mode selected by the selection means, when the measurement of the body temperature is finished in the body temperature measuring means. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
