A portable closed-loop system for temperature regulation of an area of the human body comprising:a reservoir for a liquid,an enveloping means for enveloping the area of the human body comprising at least one conduit in fluid communication with the reservoir anda control assembly configured to set the temperature of the liquid in the conduitwherein the conduit is arranged to uniformly regulate the temperature over the area enveloped by the enveloping means.
