PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue image processing device capable of individually detecting each tooth mark at high speed more accurately while reducing a processing load without being affected by an environmental factor during imaging of a tongue image.SOLUTION: A tongue image processing device comprises: an interface 1 for acquiring a tongue image obtained by imaging a tongue; an operation part 4 for designating a tooth mark detection area which is used for detecting a tooth mark which occurred on the tongue, in the tongue image; a tongue diagnosis area extraction part 21 for extracting a tongue diagnosis area using an area determination mask which is used for dividing an area into a tongue diagnosis area corresponding to the tongue in the designated tooth mark detection area and a background in the tooth mark detection area other than the tongue, which corresponds to a dimension of the tooth mark detection area, extracting a contour of the tongue from the tongue diagnosis area, and detecting a convex hull which is circumscribed to the contour; a tooth mark state detection part 22 for extracting a tooth mark area corresponding to one or each of plural tooth marks, based on the contour and convex hull; and an output control part 23 for outputting tooth mark area information indicating the tooth mark area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】舌画像の撮像時の環境要因等に影響されることなく、より正確、高速且つ処理負担の軽減を図りつつ、各歯痕をそれぞれ別個に検出することが可能な舌画像処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】舌を撮像して得られた舌画像を取得するインターフェース1と、舌にできた歯痕の検出に用いられる歯痕検出領域を舌画像において指定する操作部4と、指定された歯痕検出領域内の舌に相当する舌診領域と、舌以外の歯痕検出領域内の背景と、を分けるための領域判定マスクであって歯痕検出領域の寸法に対応した領域判定マスクを用いて舌診領域を抽出し、舌の輪郭をその舌診領域から抽出し、その輪郭に外接する凸包を検出する舌診領域抽出部21と、輪郭及び凸包に基づいて、一又は複数の歯痕それぞれに相当する歯痕領域を抽出する歯痕形態検出部22と、歯痕領域を示す歯痕領域情報を出力する歯痕形態検出部及び出力制御部23と、を備える。【選択図】図1
