To provide a composite laminate capable of combining the functionality and external aesthetic property in a gather part, having small elongation dependency of specific performance suitable for a diaper, in particular, unload power, having soft feeling in the characteristics when wearing, and having a broad size adaptation, and a paper diaper using the same.SOLUTION: A composite laminate includes: a plurality of elastic fibers； and a resin joining fabrics juxtaposed in a direction intersecting with the elastic fibers and the elastic fibers, between two sheets of fabric, in which between intersections of resins adjacent in the longitudinal direction of the elastic fibers and the elastic fibers, each fabric and the elastic fiber are separated, a ratio of the fineness of the elastic fiber to the fineness of the fiber constituting the fabric is 0.5 or larger and 300 or smaller, and when two cycles of 130% repeating elongation of the composite laminate are performed, and with the return stress at the time of 30% at 2nd cycle set to (A), and the return stress at the time of 100% elongation set to (B), (A)/(B)×100%≥50% is satisfied, and a paper diaper using the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】ギャザー部における機能性と外観審美性を両立することができ、紙おむつ等に好適な特定性能、特にアンロードパワーの伸度依存性が小さく、着用時の特性にソフト感を有し、サイズ適応範囲の広い複合積層体と、それを用いた紙おむつを提供する。【解決手段】２枚の布帛間に、複数本の弾性繊維と、弾性繊維と交差する方向に並設され布帛と弾性繊維を接合する樹脂とを有し、弾性繊維の長手方向において隣り合う樹脂と弾性繊維の交差箇所間では各布帛と弾性繊維が離間しており、布帛を構成する繊維の繊度に対する弾性繊維の繊度の比が０．５以上３００以下であり、かつ、複合積層体の１３０％繰り返し伸長を２サイクル行い、（Ａ）２サイクル目の３０％伸長時の戻り応力、（Ｂ）１００％伸長時の戻り応力としたとき、（Ａ）／（Ｂ）×１００％≧５０％を満たす複合積層体、およびそれを用いた紙おむつ。【選択図】なし
