PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which solves multiple creases and turning-up all together, and prevent lateral leak of egestion at higher level.SOLUTION: An absorbent article has a top surface sheet 1, a bottom surface sheet 2, and an intermediate layer 3. The absorbent article has a longitudinal direction (Y direction) oriented along connecting a ventral part, a crotch part, and a dorsal part of a wearer, and a lateral direction (X direction) orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The top surface sheet 1 has, in opposite end portions in the lateral direction, a ridge/groove structure 6 in which a ridge part 4 and a groove part 5 which extend in the longitudinal direction (Y direction) are alternately arranged in the lateral direction (X direction).
