Composition for dyeing human hair, comprises at least one natural dye, alkaloid which includes dyes, anthraquinone dyes, betalaines, carotenoids, catechins, curcumin, flavins, flavonoids, indigoid dyes, naphthoquinones and other phenolic dyes, and at least one divalent metal salt, in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, where the composition further contains at least one cationic and/or amphoteric polymer. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a multi-component packaging unit for dyeing keratinous fibers, comprising at least two separate assembled preparation, where the preparation (I), includes at least one natural dye which contain alkaloid dyes, anthraquinone dyes, betalaines, carotenoids, catechins, curcumin, flavins, flavonoids, indigoid dyes, naphthoquinones and other phenolic dyes, and further at least one cationic and/or amphoteric polymer in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, and the preparation (II), includes at least one divalent metal salt in a cosmetically acceptable carrier； and (2) dyeing human hair, comprising (i) closely mixing the (I) and (II) together for using, and (ii) applying the obtained mixture to the hair for 10-45 minutes and washing using water.
