PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide preparation methods of osteoporosis model animals in which osteoblastic activity is inhibited, and to provide methods of evaluating the therapeutic effect for osteoporosis of a test substance.SOLUTION: A preparation method of nonhuman osteoporosis model animals comprises inhibiting the expression or function of synoviolin proteins in nonhuman animals using an osteoblastic activity-inhibiting composition containing a carrier and, as an active ingredient, a synoviolin inhibitor that inhibits the expression or function of synoviolin proteins in nonhuman animals.
