PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring connector removal tool which facilitates the removal of a wiring connector and a method of using the wiring connector removal tool.SOLUTION: A free end 26 of a first arm 20 has an unlocking claw 29 projecting toward a second arm 30. A free end 33 of the second arm 30 has an engaging claw 39 projecting toward the first arm 20. The engaging claw 39 is disposed extending in a width direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the second arm 30. When a lock claw of a male connector housing is unlocked with the unlocking claw 29 and the male connector housing is rotated while being held, the engaging claw 39 presses the end face of a female connector housing in a separating direction. Since both connector housings are separated by this pressing, the removal of a wiring connector can be facilitated.
