An object is to obtain a refined glyceride composition comprising 3-chloropropane-1,2-diol and fatty acid esters of 3-chloropropane-1,2-diol in small amounts. Specifically, the present invention provides a method of producing a refined glyceride composition, comprising a clay treatment step of bringing a glyceride composition which has not undergone a deodorizing step into contact with a mixture containing clay and potassium carbonate.
