Provided is a dye mixture used for dyeing hair, containing 1-15 wt% of a water-soluble monomer H2C=C(X)-C(=O)ORaOH, wherein X is H or CH3 and Ra is an alkyl containing at least one coupling agent and at least one oxidation dye precursor of a primary mediator such as methoxymethyl-1,4-phenylenediamine and 4,5-diamino-1-hexylpyrazole the pH value of the mixture is 8-12, and it does not contain an oxidizing agent.
