PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for extracting a fluid composed of CSF from a cavity containing cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) at a first flow rate. A system includes a first tangential flow filter for filtering a fluid into a first pass liquid and a first residual liquid, the first filtration system operating according to a first parameter set, and a first filtration system in communication with the first filtration system. A second tangential flow filter for filtering the first residual liquid into a second passing liquid and a second residual liquid and operating according to a second parameter set； and a second filtration system communicating with the first and second filtration systems. And a mixer that mixes the first passage liquid and the second passage liquid to generate a mixed passage liquid. The system is further configured to return the mixed flow-through from the mixer to the cavity containing the CSF of the subject at a second flow rate and to determine that the characteristic measured by the detector has exceeded a preset threshold. The parameter of at least one of the first operating parameter set and the second operating parameter set is updated based on the characteristic measured in response.
