PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the constitution for detecting the operation state of individual row clutches in high exactness with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This is a riding type working machine that is equipped with a working device 2 for row seeding or row planting on the rear side of the self-propelled machine body 1, in which the manual operation part 43 of the row selection operating mechanism A for switching individual clutches 22 on and off separately or in specific units is attached on the self-propelled machine body side. In the row selection operating mechanism A, a linking mechanism B for controlling the operation of the fertilizer and agrochemical-feeding device 23 for stopping the supply of the fertilizer and the agrochemicals from their feeders 23 to the prescribed rows to which the feed of fertilizer and agrochemicals is stopped. The detection part 60 for detecting the operation state of the linking mechanism B working based on the operation of the manual operation part 43 is set, and the detection means 63 for detecting the switching conditions of individual row clutches 2 is constituted on the side of the planting or seeding operation device 2 on the basis of the detection result at the detection part 60.
