PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the horizontal projection lengths of fixing tapes in a disposable diaper before use.SOLUTION: Respective fixing tapes 41 on both of the right and left sides of a disposable diaper include: first fixing parts 411 and second fixing parts 412 that are horizontally separated on inner surfaces 414 of tape base parts 413. The respective fixing tapes 41 are folded along folding lines 431 positioned in intermediate areas 415 between the first fixing parts 411 and the second fixing parts 412 in a disposable diaper before use. The first fixing parts 411 are temporarily fixed to the intermediate areas 415 adjacent to the second fixing parts 412 on the inner surfaces 414 of the tape base parts 413. The second fixing parts 412 are temporarily fixed to external areas 417 closer to the distal end sides of the tape base parts 413 compared with the first fixing parts 411 on the inner surfaces 414 of the tape base parts 413. Thus, the horizontal projection lengths of the fixing tapes 41 are shortened.
