A method for manufacturing a gamma-aminobutyric acid comprises following steps: A precold step is putting a plurality of seeds of Chenopodium Formosanum Koidz. in a place with temperature limit between 1 to 15 DEG C. A preheat step is heating seeds of Chenopodium Formosanum Koidz. A gas inputting step is putting seeds in a seal container with 10% CO2 gas for a certain period and then moving to air to let seeds bud. A drying step is baking seeds to get dry sprouted seeds. A composition with gamma-aminobutyric acid comprises 15 to 70 percentages of dry sprouted seeds of Chenopodium Formosanum Koidz and an additive.一種GABA茶及其製造方法,包含下列步驟:一預冷步驟,將台灣藜種子放置於一溫度控制在溫度介於1至15℃的環境。一熱衝步驟,對該台灣藜種子進行加熱。一通氣步驟,係將台灣藜種子放入通有二氧化碳的容器中達一預定時間,再將該台灣藜種子移至一般大氣環境下,使台灣藜種子形成一發芽台灣藜種子。一乾燥步驟,移除該發芽台灣藜種子中之水分,以形成一乾燥發芽台灣藜種子。其中,以重量百分比計15%至70%之乾燥發芽台灣藜種子與至少一添加物混合以形成該GABA茶。
