PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information detecting apparatus, efficiently and accurately receiving scattered light of observation light applied to the skin to detect biological information such as pulse wave accurately and easily.SOLUTION: The observation light of a specific wavelength band emitted from a light emitting element 6 for optically observing the skin tissue of a human body is guided to an annular light guide member 7 to be annularly diffused and irradiated to the skin H, and the scattered light taken from the skin H through an observation light taking part 8 located in the central area within the irradiated annular irradiating area E is received by a light receiving element 9. Thus, the observation light from the light emitting element 6 is annularly and uniformly diffused and irradiated to the skin H in a wide range, and only the scattered light taken from the skin H can be efficiently and accurately received by the light receiving element 9, so that biological information can be accurately and easily detected based on the received scattered light.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】 皮膚に照射された観測光の散乱光を効率良く正確に受光して、脈波などの生体情報を正確かつ容易に検出できる生体情報検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】 人体の皮膚組織を光学的に観測するために発光素子6から発光された特定波長帯域の観測光を環状の導光部材7に導いて皮膚Hに環状に拡散照射し、この照射された環状の照射領域E内の中央部に位置する観測光採込部8で皮膚Hから取り込んだ散乱光を受光素子9で受光する。従って、発光素子6からの観測光を皮膚Hに対して環状に広い範囲で均一に拡散照射させ、皮膚Hから取り込んだ散乱光のみを受光素子9で効率良く正確に受光することができ、この受光された散乱光に基づいて、生体情報を正確かつ容易に検出することができる。【選択図】 図4
